Technical Compliance & Project Officer

For the Untire App (32 hours)
 
Millions of cancer patients and survivors worldwide suffer from extreme fatigue. They feel so tired that it affects all aspects of their lives. They often feel stressed and depressed as well. We help them by offering a digital solution to cope with their fatigue.  
 
Tired of Cancer’s app Untire, contains a program that helps cancer patients and survivors to understand their fatigue and gives them practical exercises and tips to work on their energy level. All content of the app is based on proven methods in clinical practice. The app has already been proven to improve thousands of lives, including patients in Germany, The Netherlands, United Kingdom and Latin-America. 
 
Our current team consists of 17 professionals in business, research and development. We are based in an office close to the central station of Utrecht. Our mission is to help as many cancer patients as possible all over the world. You can feel the spirit to achieve this mission in our team.
 
As developers of Digital Therapeutics (DTx), we hold compliance and privacy in high regard. To prepare for the future, we are looking for an addition to our current legal & compliance team. To further bridge the gap between compliance and technology, we are looking for a Technical Compliance & Project Officer.
 
📝About this role  
As Technical Compliance & Project Officer you are responsible for all technical-related compliance projects within Tired of Cancer. This is a unique role on the dividing line of compliance and product with a specific focus on security and privacy, where you will ensure that the product continues to meet set requirements. Some examples of what you will be working on:

·       Maintain and document all technical aspects of the quality management system.
·       Convert new regulatory requirements into user stories together with the product owner. 
·       Monitor and document (cyber) security requirements and data management practices to ensure compliance with data privacy principles via a DPIA.
·       Act as a representative toward regulatory bodies. 
·       Collaborate with the software development team to automate regulatory processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy in documentation creation.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic individual, who thrives in a startup environment, has a hands-on mentality, knows its way around privacy (GDPR) and information security (ISO 27001) and possesses a strong capability for automating processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in upholding product quality and regulatory compliance. 

In this role, you will work closely with the chief growth officer, the product owner, the Head of Legal & Regulatory Affairs.

💯 Our wish list. Here’s the qualities that you have:

·       A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Compliance, IT, Engineering or equivalent.
·       A technical background, and you are familiar with the software development process.
·       Fluent in both German and English.
·       A couple of years of experience in related roles.
·       In-depth, practical knowledge of ISO 27001 and GDPR (Bonus: you are certified).
·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
·       Bonus: In-depth knowledge of ISO 13485, IEC 62304, MDR and other regulations around medical devices

💸Competitive salary

We offer you a monthly salary between €3.700 – €4.200, based on a full-time (36-hours) contract, depending on your experience level. This is without the extras as pension funding and vacation money.
