Your role as Technical Project Manager – Healthcare Integrations (m/w/d):

Your responsibilities:
As a Technical Project Manager (TPM), you will work on the end-to-end implementation of new and existing integrations that connect hospital information systems (KIS/HIS) and electronic systems from post-care providers with the Recare platform.
- Lead integration projects with key technology partners from kick-off to go-live.
- Ensure project success by effectively managing technical partnerships (software providers like Connext for recipient chains, interoperability hubs, etc.).
- Enable the development of new connectivity features by defining and validating interfaces (HL7 v2, FHIR) with the product development team.
- Remove blockers hands-on by participating in daily stand-ups, checking log files in Datadog, and coordinating quick solutions with developers.
- Support sales teams during bidding and pre-sales phases.
- Incorporate insights from integration "spikes" and special cases into the product backlog and quality assurance test plans.
- Represent Recare at industry events and in standardization committees.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in leading technical projects or partner integrations in healthcare IT or a similarly regulated industry.
- Solid project management skills (agile and organizational), with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple development threads simultaneously without losing detail.
- In-depth, practical knowledge of HL7 v2 and FHIR, ideally with knowledge of the German Telematics Infrastructure (TI).
- Confident handling of log files, message tracing, and tools like Postman, Datadog, Jira/Confluence.
- Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
- Empathy and negotiation skills – protecting scope and timelines by not agreeing to everything and weighing effort versus benefit.
Additional collaboration with the Gateway rollout team (integration specialists supporting hospital IT integration rollouts) and operations teams on integration and tender requests.
