We are looking for a Tech Lead to own and drive our Voice Native product within Recare’s engineering organisation. You will lead the technical direction and delivery of real-time voice features that capture and document clinical conversations, working closely with product, design and AI teams. This role is fully remote and contributes directly to solutions that give healthcare professionals more time for patients.
What you will do
As Tech Lead you will:
- Own the architecture, roadmap and technical implementation of voice-native systems (real-time audio capture, streaming, speech recognition and processing).
- Design and operate reliable, low-latency services and integrations with clinical systems.
- Collaborate with product managers, ML engineers and designers to deliver high-quality features end-to-end.
- Mentor engineers, run design reviews and raise engineering standards across the team.
- Ensure secure handling of sensitive healthcare data and follow best practices for privacy and compliance.
What we expect
You bring:
- Strong experience building real-time or voice-native systems (WebRTC, streaming audio, SIP, mobile audio pipelines, or equivalent).
- Proven track record leading engineering efforts and mentoring teams.
- Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, monitoring and scalable backend services.
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs and clinical systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative mindset for cross-functional work.
