Responsibilities you will grow into:
- 1) Strategic new customer acquisition (Top-Down)
- Independently identify and win key customers in the hospital environment and build a strategic pipeline with clear account and stakeholder strategies.
- Confidently navigate between commercial management, nursing directors, IT, clinical departments and executive management.
- 2) Complex solution sales (End-to-End)
- Manage the entire sales cycle from first contact to contract signature.
- Conduct discovery, value story, demo/use-case argumentation, business case/ROI and negotiations.
- Use modern methodologies (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN) to qualify, accelerate and close deals predictably.
- 3) Position and scale the AI suite
- Make AI tangible: translate technical capabilities into clinical outcomes (relief, quality, speed, standardization).
- Proactively address concerns (data protection, information security, change, implementation) and guide stakeholders through decision processes.
- Work closely with Product/AI/Customer Success to refine use cases, storylines and references.
- 4) Up- & Cross-selling for existing customers
- Strategically develop existing customers and identify added-value potential for additional modules and AI features.
- 5) Sales excellence & reporting
- Deliver reliable forecasts and work data-driven on pipeline quality and win rates.
- 6) Team culture & mentoring (Senior)
- Share best practices, coach colleagues in deal and stakeholder management and set standards for sales excellence.
Requirements
How we imagine you as our (Senior) Sales Manager:
Must-haves:
- Several years of proven success selling complex SaaS/tech solutions (ideally enterprise).
- Experience in the hospital market or adjacent areas of the German healthcare system and understanding of decision-making and procurement logic.
- Confident communicator and negotiator at C-level (commercial management, nursing directorate, medical directorate, IT management, executive board).
- Strong methodological skills (e.g. MEDDIC/MEDDPICC/SPIN) and structured deal execution.
- Very good CRM hygiene and experience with Salesforce (or similar), including forecasting.
- At least very good German and good English skills, written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel within Germany for meetings, pitches and events.
AI / Tech-specific strengths:
- Ability to explain AI and data topics in a way that is understandable and decision-relevant for non-technical stakeholders.
- Build value selling around AI: use case → outcome → economics → risk mitigation → implementation plan.
- Good sense for typical objections (data protection, IT security, integration, acceptance) and ability to resolve them.
Mindset:
- Proactive, resilient and willing to push things forward even when not every process is finished.
- Comfortable working in a performance-oriented environment with high autonomy.
- Combine empathy and assertiveness: listen but lead clearly to the next step.
