About us:
Recare connects hospitals, post-acute care providers, and payers with innovative digital solutions to make transitional processes in healthcare more efficient, faster, and patient-centered. Recare has grown successfully in recent years, expanded its market-leading position in Germany, and currently connects over 900 acute care hospitals, 650 rehabilitation clinics, and 25,000 other service providers from nursing and aids/homecare sectors on its digital marketplace. Founded in 2017, Recare is based in Berlin.

Responsibilities to grow as our Lead New Business (m/f/d):
- Identification and development of new product and market opportunities: You lead the identification and management of new product areas and market segments.
- Business case development: You assess the economic feasibility of new products and business models, including market, competitive, and financial analyses.
- Strategic product development: You define product requirements, risk assessments, value propositions, and pricing strategies in close collaboration with product and tech teams.
- Project management from idea to launch: You take responsibility for the entire process–from idea generation to market launch of new product solutions–applying professional management frameworks. Initial focus will be successfully bringing vertical AI products to market.
- Stakeholder management: You work closely with internal and external partners to establish and launch successful product verticals.
- Go-to-market strategy: You develop and implement market entry strategies in collaboration with sales, customer success, and marketing teams.
Requirements
Our expectations for you as our Lead New Business (m/f/d):
- Experience: At least 5 years in new business, corporate strategy, or consulting, ideally in healthcare, hospital environment, or SaaS. Proven experience integrating AI-based technologies in business models.
- Analytical skills: Strong ability to conduct in-depth market analyses, develop business cases, and evaluate new business opportunities in healthcare. Deep understanding of hospital structures, health economics, and the growing role of AI in health innovation.
- Entrepreneurial mindset: You think entrepreneurially, independently recognize opportunities in the healthcare sector, and drive AI-based innovations focused on scalable, impactful solutions.
- Project management skills: Proven experience leading interdisciplinary and responsible teams, agile project management, and MVP introductions.
- Communication strength: Excellent communication skills and confident stakeholder management, able to operate at various internal and external decision-making levels.
- Language skills: You have at least very good German and English skills in writing and speaking.
