About the Position
We are looking for a strategic, data-driven, and hands-on Head of Sales (m/f/d) with solid B2B SaaS expertise, ideally in healthcare or regulated markets. You will lead and scale our sales team, drive revenue across all customer segments, and work closely with other teams. You bring deep understanding of the German healthcare system and experience in C-level negotiations. You develop differentiated strategies for large clients (e.g., hospital groups) as well as for medium and smaller post-acute care providers.
What to expect as our Head of Sales (m/w/d)
- Complete revenue responsibility across all market segments
- Definition, development, and optimization of internal sales processes and enablement structures (playbooks, training, tools)
- Leadership, coaching, and scaling of a high-performance sales team (from 5 FTE to 8–10 FTE)
- Development and implementation of strategies for new customer acquisition, upselling, renewals
- Co-creation of pitches, sales materials, and commercial strategies
- Building a data-driven sales culture with clear KPIs
- Forecasting, CRM hygiene, pipeline, and performance reporting
- Representation of sales in the leadership team and active participation in company strategy development
- Contract negotiations at C-level
- Close collaboration with product, marketing, and customer success teams
- Active contribution to complex or high-volume strategic deals
Your responsibilities as our Head of Sales (m/w/d)
- Strategic sales planning and execution
- Team leadership, hiring, and development
- Revenue forecasting and pipeline management
- Key account management and strategic partnerships
- Sales operations and tooling
- Alignment with marketing and product teams
- Representation at industry events, conferences, and trade fairs
- Responsibility for achieving sales targets and budget planning of the sales department
- Control of CAC, deal profitability, ROI per segment, CLV, etc.

Your environment
You report directly to the managing director (Max Greschke) and are part of the extended leadership team. You lead the sales team (Account Executives and Key Account Managers) and work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams.
Requirements
Our expectations of you as our Head of Sales (m/w/d)
- 5–10+ years of B2B sales experience (SaaS or enterprise tech), with at least 3 years in team leadership
- Proven success in building and scaling sales teams
- Successful acquisition of new corporate clients and expansion of existing customers
- Experience in or with the German healthcare sector (hospitals, rehab, nursing)
- Experience in negotiations and stakeholder management at the C-level
- Proficient use of CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive)
- Familiarity with tendering and award procedures in the healthcare context
- Fluent German and business English
Nice-to-Have Professional Skills
- Network in the German healthcare market (e.g., hospital management, IT leadership)
- Experience with public clients or regulated markets
- Knowledge in value-based selling, MEDDIC, or similar methods
- Experience in international markets
