The Role: Software Engineer
We're hiring exceptional engineers who are great at something and comfortable working across the stack. You might lean back-end, data, infrastructure, or front-end — but you can move thoughtfully up and down the stack to ship high-impact work. As noted above, the job title is flexible based on your experience and specialization.
What you’ll do
- Design, build, and operate production services and data pipelines that are reliable, observable, and scalable.
- Build product features end-to-end, from API and data models to performant, accessible UIs.
- Own integrations that connect our platform to CRMs, marketing platforms, and DSPs, translating third‑party API docs into robust implementations with solid testing and docs.
- Collaborate directly with product, and customers to validate, iterate, and deliver outcomes.
Our environment
- AWS-first. You don’t need every acronym — you’re comfortable building in serverless and containerized patterns and can pick the right tool for the job.
- Typical services include AWS Lambda, Kinesis, SQS, Fargate, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, S3. Experience with some subset is great; mastery of fundamentals is better.
- TypeScript / Node.js across services and integrations. React on the admin application. We maintain several web SDKs and open source packages to help developers integrate with our platform.
What we’re looking for
- You’ve taken systems from spec to production and owned outcomes.
- Depth in at least one area, plus range across others.
- Clear, concise communication and a bias for action. You ship, measure, and improve.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with marketing platforms and tools. We build marketing infrastructure for healthcare and integrate with various marketing systems, so experience in this space will help you quickly understand our product context and technical challenges.
- Prior work in healthcare, privacy, or regulated environments.
