As a Sr. Program Manager, Marketing Ops, you will play a critical role in driving high-priority marketing initiatives from planning through execution. You'll serve as a connective tissue between strategic marketing leads, product marketing, channel owners, and creative teams—owning program timelines, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring projects land on time and on brief.

What you will do:

  • Program setup & execution readiness:
    • Develop, implement, and maintain project management methodologies (e.g., Agile for workflows, Waterfall for large launches) and processes for marketing initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the Director of Marketing Operations to scope, resource, and align programs across creative, channel, and product stakeholders and partner with US counterparts to deliver cohesive plans.
    • Ensure projects follow governance frameworks with clear roles, responsibilities, decision points, and escalation paths.
  • Program management & cross-functional leadership:
    • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of strategic marketing programs (product launches, campaigns, brand moments), partnering with channel leads (ecomm, social, PR, retail, blog, media), creative, and product marketing.
    • Translate strategy into integrated, actionable plans with owners, timelines, and milestones; facilitate alignment and regular check-ins to track progress and surface risks.
    • Facilitate meetings, manage action items, remove roadblocks, and ensure projects pass through appropriate gates or are unblocked promptly.
  • Strategic program support:
    • Partner with strategy and brand teams early to scope timelines, define workstreams, and identify resources; help prioritize initiatives and align short-term execution with long-term brand goals.
  • Mission control & reporting:
    • Serve as the central point of visibility for in-flight programs, keeping leadership informed and surfacing blockers early.
    • Implement and maintain project tracking systems and dashboards to provide visibility into progress, risks, and resource allocation.
    • Maintain the single source-of-truth roadmap calendar for all marketing projects and present concise reports for leadership.
  • Tooling & standardization:
    • Manage and optimize marketing project management tools (e.g., Asana, Workfront, Jira, Smartsheet) and drive adoption.
    • Develop and champion standardized templates and operating procedures (briefs, production schedules, creative request forms) to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Continuous improvement & support:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within marketing, provide guidance on best practices, and foster clear communication, accountability, and collaborative problem-solving.

Qualifications & experience

  • 8+ years of proven experience in global project management, with significant experience in Marketing Operations or in-house marketing teams.
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional marketing projects and strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience in a tech company or fast-paced, high-growth international environment is highly desirable.
  • Deep knowledge of the end-to-end marketing lifecycle across channels and familiarity with marketing tools and platforms (marketing automation, CRM, creative asset management).
  • Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, SAFe) are a strong plus.

Skills & attributes

  • Exceptional organization: Meticulous attention to detail and methodical planning.
  • Proactive & driven: Self-starter who can drive projects, anticipate needs, and manage priorities.
  • Master communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication for all levels, from teams to executives.
  • Collaborative partner: Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across strategy, creative, and channel teams.
  • Problem-solver: Strong analytical skills and ability to navigate ambiguity.
