Senior Product Manager, Health Intelligence — Oura
Our mission at Oura is to empower every person to own their inner potential. Our award-winning products help our global community gain a deeper knowledge of their readiness, activity, and sleep quality by using their Oura Ring and its connected app. We've helped millions of people understand and improve their health by providing daily insights and practical steps to inspire healthy lifestyles.
The Health Intelligence team operates within the HealthOS mission, enabling other teams to efficiently deliver personalized solutions that help members build sustainable, empowered relationships with their health. The team builds member‑facing intelligence (guidance, insights, companion-like experiences such as Oura Advisor) and the platform foundations that power them: modular components, shared libraries, and clear APIs that let other teams plug into HealthOS capabilities quickly and safely.
What you will do
You will define and ship the next generation of health intelligence experiences, working closely with product and executive leadership and connecting company-level goals to concrete roadmaps. This senior individual contributor role is open at Senior or Staff level and can be based in Helsinki or Oulu, Finland.
- Shape the vision for Oura’s intelligent health companion: Define and evolve a product vision for deeply personalized, trustworthy and actionable health experiences that combine models, UX, content and behavioral insight.
- Own outcomes across experience and platform layers: Drive a roadmap that balances member-facing features with scalable platform capabilities (APIs, shared services, data, AI building blocks).
- Lead Intelligence product initiatives end‑to‑end: From discovery to launch and iteration, define use cases for LLMs and AI, design interactions and safety guardrails, and work with engineering, design and data teams to ship and learn quickly.
- Deeply understand our members and their health journeys: Partner with research, science, and data teams to map journeys, identify pain points, and prioritize meaningful problems.
- Partner with senior and executive leaders: Structure clear narratives and options for high-impact decisions and align intelligence work to company goals using measurable outcomes.
- Measure impact and learn fast: Define success metrics, instrumentation needs, and experimentation plans; use data and member feedback to iterate rapidly.
Requirements
We would love to have you on our team if you have:
- Product Experience: 7+ years of Product Management experience in consumer technology or AI-first products with a track record of shipping successful products at scale.
- Production (Gen)AI Experience: Experience shipping LLM features or Agents in a live, high-traffic production environment, including prompt engineering, interaction design, and managing cost/performance trade-offs at scale.
- Technical Authority: Strong technical literacy (engineering or data science background preferred) and understanding of constraints in shipping GenAI at scale (latency, token costs, context windows, RAG architectures), able to lead API and platform discussions.
- Strategic Planning: Ability to work backwards from desired solutions and timing to create clear specs and roadmaps that drive alignment.
- Drive internal adoption: Work closely with other product teams to identify high-value integration points, shape reusable patterns, and ensure the platform is well documented and reliable.
