Senior Manager, Clinical Research Operations
Our mission at Oura is to empower every person to own their inner potential. Our products help a global community understand readiness, activity, and sleep quality through the Oura Ring and app. The Research Operations team designs and executes human research studies that power R&D and support scientific credibility. This role is foundational in designing, building, and scaling Oura’s clinical research operations function to enable regulatory submissions and new product capabilities.
What you will do
Own and oversee all aspects of clinical trials, including feasibility analysis, budgets, contracts, development of clinical investigation plans and protocols, regulatory submissions, logistics, troubleshooting, and data quality monitoring.
- Manage and grow a clinical operations squad and scale in-house research study capabilities
- Expand and manage network of research partners, institutional partners, and CROs
- Collaborate with science, engineering, regulatory, clinical, product, and legal teams to enable regulatory submissions
- Build internal processes, tools, and templates to increase speed while preserving scientific rigor
Qualifications
We would love to have you on our team if you have:
- 5+ years running clinical trials end-to-end, including at least 2 years supervising staff and managing CRO/vendor relationships
- Experience managing research studies for regulatory submissions in industry, including study startup, requirement identification, resource allocation, execution, compliance, risk management, and source documentation
- Expertise with digital health or medical device (SaMD) trials and multiple data streams (e.g., EEG, CGM, ePRO, consumer wearables) and knowledge of FDA, GCP, ICH requirements
- Strong documentation and process-building skills (SOPs, templates, study documentation) and a growth-oriented mindset
- Experience in large cross-functional teams, and flexibility for occasional site visits and global calls

US compensation tiers (market-based) listed on the posting: Region 1: $170,000 - $200,000; Region 2: $154,700 - $182,000; Region 3: $139,400 - $164,000. Offers vary by location, experience, and internal equity.
