Engineering Technician

Our award-winning products help a global community learn about their readiness, activity, and sleep quality using the Oura Ring and the connected app. This role supports product development, prototyping, testing, and failure analysis to improve product reliability.
What you will do
- Create, build, and repair prototypes and products.
- Work with engineers to analyze failures and determine root cause.
- Create mechanical and/or electrical CAD for prototypes and tools.
Qualifications
- Mechanical and electrical CAD experience (ME and EE CAD).
- Soldering and PCBA rework skills.
- Electronics debugging and failure analysis experience.
- Component, tool, and hardware fabrication and manufacturing experience.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft and G Suite tools.
- Over 10 years of experience in the consumer electronics industry.
- AS in Electronics Technology or equivalent.

Compensation
Oura uses a market-based approach to pay. US locations are categorized into regions with the following ranges:
- Region 1: $120,000 - $150,000
- Region 2: $110,000 - $138,000
- Region 3: $102,000 - $128,000
Location and eligibility
This is an in-office role reporting to our San Diego, California location.
Oura is not considering candidates residing in the following states: Alaska (AK), Delaware (DE), Iowa (IA), Mississippi (MS), Missouri (MO), Nebraska (NE), South Dakota (SD), Vermont (VT), West Virginia (WV), and Wisconsin (WI).
