Job Description
As a Tech Recruiting & People Operations Manager (m/w/d) you will support our growth by attracting the best tech talents and further developing our people-operations processes. You are a strategic thinker, a hands-on practitioner, and ready to take HR work at Ocumeda to the next level together with our Head of People.
Your Tasks Include
Focus on Tech Recruiting: Identification, approach and acquisition of IT, software, and data talents (e.g., developers, data scientists, AI/ML experts) as well as other positions (e.g., commercial area).
Participation in employer branding activities.
Support of people-operations processes, e.g., performance management, employee development, HR reporting, onboarding and offboarding, preparatory payroll, policies, and internal communication.
Contact person for team members in HR topics.
Planning and implementation of initiatives for employee retention, engagement, and corporate culture.
Interface between internal teams and external service providers (e.g., HR software like Personio, benefits).
Ideal Candidate Profile
You have a degree in economics, psychology, human resources, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in recruiting tech or IT positions, understanding the requirements for developers, data scientists, and similar roles. Ideally, initial experience in HR operations complements your profile.
You are hands-on, find pragmatic solutions, and understand strategic connections.
You can adapt to different target groups and inspire others with our mission.
You possess project management and organizational skills and enjoy solving problems independently.
You are a team player who motivates and supports employees.
You have excellent communication skills in German (C2/native) and English (C1).
