Job Responsibilities
As a Sales Manager (m/w/d) at Ocumeda, you play a key role in acquiring and developing our business relationships in Switzerland. You know how to meet the needs of our partner opticians and develop tailored solutions that drive both their success and ours. Your experience, execution strength, and communication skills are crucial in establishing our service with a variety of partner opticians and end customers.
Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing individual strategies for new customer acquisition (partner opticians) and ensuring high customer satisfaction with long-term retention
- Identifying and acquiring potential key customers as well as maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships
- Negotiating and concluding contracts in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Regularly analyzing customer needs and the market
- Close cross-departmental cooperation with our teams in Customer Success, Product, and Marketing
Candidate Profile
You are a good fit for this job if:
- You have experience in optometry, medical technology, healthcare, or similar fields, ideally with training or a degree (in optometry/optometry, health sciences, business administration, or a related field)
- First professional experience in account management, sales management
- Proven success in customer acquisition, care, and business relationship development - e.g., in your roles for a contact lens company, a glasses manufacturer, or a device manufacturer
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and translate complex customer requirements into solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in German; English is a plus
- High level of self-organization, initiative, and ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel (approx. 40%)
