As a Sales Manager (m/w/d) at Ocumeda, you play a crucial role in acquiring and developing our business relationships. You understand the needs of our partner opticians and develop tailored solutions that drive both their success and ours. Your experience, implementation strength, and communication skills are essential for our joint success, establishing our service with a variety of partner opticians and our end customers.
Your tasks include among others:
- Developing and implementing individual strategies for acquiring new customers (partner opticians) and ensuring high customer satisfaction with long-term loyalty
- Identifying and acquiring potential key customers as well as maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships
- Negotiating and concluding contracts in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
- Regularly analyzing customer needs and the market
- Close cross-departmental collaboration with our teams in Customer Success, Product, Marketing

- You have experience in optometry, medical technology, healthcare, or similar fields, preferably with training or a degree (in optometry/optometry, health sciences, economics, or a related field)
- Initial professional experience in account management, sales management
- Proven success in customer acquisition, care, and business development - e.g. in your activities for a contact lens company, a glasses manufacturer, or a device manufacturer
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex customer requirements and translate them into solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in German, English is a plus
- High level of self-organization, initiative, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel (approx. 40%) - ideally living in Northern Germany. The position can be filled remotely from here, but residence in the sales area is advantageous
