Role Overview
As an IT Operations Manager at Ocumeda, you have a holistic view of the internal IT infrastructure and ensure smooth operation for colleagues – managing devices, SaaS tools, and security.
You focus on system thinking, process structuring, and maintaining a user-centric view. You will take long-term responsibility for the technical integration of B2B partners and be a key interface in Ocumeda's digital ecosystem.
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for all internal IT operations at Ocumeda: laptops, smartphones, servers, networks, security.
- Manage SaaS tools (Microsoft 365, Slack, Monday.com, etc.) with smart integrations, automation, and clear processes.
- Manage employee On-/Offboarding processes including setup, permissions, licenses, etc.
- Ensure colleagues can work smoothly, securely, and efficiently – from IT security to tool optimization.
- Work closely with the CTO, gradually taking on responsibility and sustainably developing internal IT.
- Document properly and proactively – from IT policies and data protection to audit preparation in collaboration with the regulatory team (MDR, ISO 27001, etc.).
- Be the first point of contact for technical questions – hands-on, solution-oriented, and attentive to colleagues' needs.
- Take long-term responsibility for technical integration of B2B partners into platform and system landscape (occasional travel approx. 10%).
Candidate Profile
- Reliable, trustworthy, and security-conscious – working with sensitive health data.
- Comfortable taking responsibility and building, automating, and optimizing structures.
- Proficient with macOS, Windows, networks, VPNs, IT security, and tools like MDM, Jamf, Intune, Google Workspace, Jira.
- Pragmatic, focused on making things work, solution-oriented.
- Enjoy working in a startup environment – fast-paced, autonomous, and with room for creativity.
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., MedTech, Health, Finance) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
