Job Description
As Head of Growth, you will play a crucial role in strengthening Ocumeda's market presence and driving sustainable growth. You will have strategic leadership over sales and marketing across multiple markets. You are responsible for developing long-term growth strategies and ensuring optimal positioning of the brand among B2B partners and end customers.
Key Responsibilities
Your tasks include but are not limited to:
- Strategic sales and marketing leadership: Developing long-term sales and marketing strategies for core markets and defining KPIs to ensure sustainable growth.
- Market and competition analysis: Identifying market trends, new opportunities, and risks; deriving concrete measures and managing strategic initiatives.
- Leadership & team development: Leading and developing the entire sales and marketing team, ensuring a top performance culture, and building structures for long-term success.
- Go-to-market strategies: Developing innovative market entry and growth strategies for new and existing markets and coordinating cross-functional projects with teams from product, operations, customer success, and medical.
- Stakeholder management: Representing Ocumeda at the management level, industry events, and strategic partners.
- Revenue ownership: Responsible for revenue growth and market shares in the markets.
Candidate Profile
This job is suitable if:
- You have at least 10 years of professional experience with strong sales and marketing focus, including 5 years in a leadership role in high-growth companies. Alternatively, several years of experience in high-performance environments (strategy consulting, preferably with a focus on pricing, sales, or consumer goods).
- Proven experience in strategic market development, scaling sales and marketing organizations, and implementing growth strategies.
- Successful track record in key account management and partner networks, having closed relevant deals.
- Strong analytical thinking, structured working style, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ideally, experience in the healthcare or tech sector, affinity for optics/ophthalmology is an advantage.
- Fluent German and English negotiation skills.
