As Head of Growth, you contribute decisively to strengthening the market presence of Ocumeda and driving sustainable growth of the company. You have strategic leadership of sales and marketing across multiple markets. You are responsible for and develop long-term growth strategies and ensure that our brand presence is optimally positioned both with B2B partners and end customers.
Your tasks include:
- Strategic Sales and Marketing Leadership: You develop the long-term sales and marketing strategy for all core markets and define KPIs to ensure sustainable growth.
- Market and Competitor Analysis: You identify market trends, new business opportunities and risks, derive concrete measures from these and manage strategic initiatives.
- Leadership & Team Development: You lead and develop the entire sales and marketing team, ensure a top performance culture and build structures for long-term success.
- Go-to-Market Strategies: You develop innovative market entry and growth strategies for new and existing markets and coordinate cross-functional projects with teams from Product, Operations, Customer Success, and Medical.
- Stakeholder Management: You represent Ocumeda at leadership level, industry events, and with strategic partners.
- Revenue Ownership: You are responsible for revenue growth and market shares in our markets.
You are a good fit for this job if
- You have at least 10 years of professional experience with strong sales and marketing reference, including 5 years in a leadership role in high-growth companies. Alternatively, you have several years of experience in a high-performance environment (strategy consulting, preferably focused on pricing, sales, or consumer goods).
- You have proven experience in strategic market development, scaling sales and marketing organizations, and implementing growth strategies.
- You convince with a strong track record in key account management, partner networks, and successfully closing deals.
- You excel with analytical thinking, structured working, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ideally, you have initial experience in the health or tech sector, affinity for optometry/ophthalmology is an advantage.
- You possess fluent German and English language skills.
