Head of Growth

Job Responsibilities

As the Head of Growth, you play a crucial role in strengthening Ocumeda's market presence and driving sustainable growth. You strategically lead sales and marketing across multiple markets. You are responsible for developing long-term growth strategies and ensuring the brand is optimally positioned with both B2B partners and end customers.
Your tasks include:
  • Strategic Sales and Marketing Leadership: Develop long-term sales and marketing strategies for core markets and define KPIs to secure sustainable growth.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Identify market trends, new business opportunities and risks, derive concrete actions and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Lead and develop the entire sales and marketing team, ensure a top-performance culture and build structures for long-term success.
  • Go-to-Market Strategies: Develop innovative market entry and growth strategies for new and existing markets and coordinate cross-functional projects with teams from Product, Operations, Customer Success, and Medical.
  • Stakeholder Management: Represent Ocumeda at the executive level, industry events and strategic partners.
  • Revenue Ownership: Responsible for revenue growth and market shares in markets served.

Candidate Profile

You are a good fit if:
  • You have at least 10 years of professional experience with strong sales and marketing focus, including 5 years in leadership in high-growth companies. Alternatively, you have several years of experience in high-performance environments (strategy consulting, preferably with focus on pricing, sales or consumer goods).
  • You have proven experience in strategic market development, scaling sales and marketing organizations, and implementing growth strategies.
  • You have a strong track record in key account management and partner networks and have closed corresponding deals.
  • You demonstrate analytical thinking, structured work methods and data-driven decision making.
  • Ideally, you bring initial experience in healthcare or tech sectors, affinity for optometry/ophthalmology is a plus.
  • You possess fluent German and English negotiation skills.
