Your diverse tasks
As a Data Platform Owner (m/f/d), you are the driving force behind our data platform and make data accessible and usable for all Ocumeda colleagues. You take responsibility for our data platform Metabase, develop data models, create how-tos and workshops, enabling all colleagues to work independently with our data.
- You are the owner of our data platform Metabase and continuously develop it into a central, reliable, and intuitive self-service tool for all teams
- You create data models and structures that enable easy, secure, and consistent access to data
- You document and explain complex relationships clearly and empower colleagues to create analyses and dashboards independently
- You ensure the data quality of our dashboards, so our teams have a reliable basis for decisions
- You work with SQL and maintain and further develop our data pipelines around Redshift as needed
- You act as a 'Data Enabler' for the entire company – your goal is that everyone at Ocumeda can work data-driven
You are a good fit for this job if
- You enjoy building data infrastructure and self-service analytics instead of just delivering queries
- You have experience with SQL and data warehouses like Redshift
- You have ideally already worked with Metabase or similar tools
- You can explain complex topics so that everyone understands – and like to create foundations through documentation, training, and best practices to empower colleagues
- You value data quality and consistency and strive to make data a reliable basis for decision-making
- You are eager to take responsibility in a startup environment, build structures, and shape sustainably
