Business Development Manager

Job Description

As a Business Development Manager, you play a crucial role in building and further developing strategic partnerships in the fields of optical optics and MedTech. You are the central contact person for our key partners and develop innovative measures together with them to achieve common goals. With your analytical skills, business potential insight, and communication strengths, you significantly contribute to driving the growth of Ocumeda and establishing long-term successful cooperations.
Your tasks include:
  • You are responsible for managing the essential strategic partners of Ocumeda in the areas of optical optics and MedTech.
  • You maintain these long-term partnerships as a central project manager and work in collaboration with various contacts of our partners (project managers, product managers, legal, finance, sales, etc.).
  • You derive specific performance measures together with the partners that directly influence goal achievement and joint revenues.
  • You manage the implementation of these performance measures and ensure through rapid iterations that the measures generate direct impact.
  • You actively shape growth initiatives and thus have a direct impact on the further growth of Ocumeda.

Qualifications

  • You have a completed degree in an economically related field or relevant professional experience.
  • You have professional experience in a dynamic environment (consulting, startup, growth company) in partner management, project management, business development, or a comparable role.
  • You have strong communication and analytical skills combined with a hands-on mentality for implementing new ideas.
  • You are a creative mind capable of developing innovative and unconventional ideas and solutions that have a direct impact.
  • You have experience in developing new concepts and are proficient with digital tools to implement them (e.g., training concepts, training sessions).
  • You work KPI-driven, are good at building networks, and enjoy interacting with various stakeholders and team members.
  • You have fluent German and English skills.
