mio42 GmbH develops, in collaboration with the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians, the so-called "Medical Information Objects (MIOs)", the digital answer to urgent problems in healthcare communication. We standardize the medical contents of the electronic patient record so that they can be exchanged across software and sector boundaries between medical practices, hospitals, and many actors in healthcare as well as patients. Relevant health information of a person, such as vaccination status, is thus uniformly available to all parties. With this, we contribute to improving patient care through digitalization.

In our Projects and Processes department, you put yourself in the perspective of future users to align the MIO design with existing or better future work processes in healthcare. You work closely with great colleagues from the fields of medicine and terminology, computer science, and design to make medical information structured and efficiently usable in the context of the electronic patient record (ePA).

You analyze current processes in the affected sectors of healthcare in the use of existing documents developed as medical information objects (MIO) for the electronic patient record (ePA) at https://mio.kbv.de/.

You identify optimization needs and develop ideas for improvements to describe ideal processes for using MIOs in practice within digitalization. For this, you organize workshops and conduct interviews with stakeholders and associations.

You focus on medical user groups and emphasize the added value in care.

You align legal requirements and technical feasibility with the needs of different user groups.

You communicate with relevant stakeholders and analyze regulatory frameworks to support the introduction of MIOs into care in the affected sectors.

You have a degree in medicine, health economics, or a comparable field.

You have excellent knowledge of the German healthcare system.

You have a convincing presence and excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.

Ideally, you have experience in eHealth and telematics infrastructure.

You have a quick grasp and a systematic and structured working style.

You are motivated, strategic, and creative to contribute to a central digitalization project in health policy in an innovative environment.
