The mio42 GmbH develops the so-called "Medical Information Objects (MIOs)" in collaboration with the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians. These are the digital answer to urgent problems in healthcare communication. We standardize the medical content of the electronic patient record so that it can be exchanged uniformly across software and sector boundaries between medical practices, hospitals, many players in healthcare, and patients. Relevant health information about a person, such as vaccination status, is thus uniformly available to all involved. In this way, we contribute to improving patient care through digitization.
