Why we need you
We are hiring a Strategic Finance & Operations Senior Associate to be a foundational member of the Finance & Strategy function. You will work directly with the Chief of Staff to the CEO across strategic finance, financial operations, analytics, and compliance.
This role requires building models that shape company direction, creating board- and investor-ready materials, maintaining financial and operational infrastructure, and producing analytic visibility for leadership. You will own end-to-end workstreams and collaborate across all company functions.

Key responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and iterate financial models including runway scenarios, burn analysis, revenue projections, and growth forecasting
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and re-forecasting cycles with timely, accurate analysis
- Conduct unit economics, margin structure, and operational efficiency analyses
- Prepare financial analyses informing pricing strategy, revenue roadmap, and resource allocation
- Support data room construction and due diligence for fundraising and ensure investor-ready financial narratives
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting infrastructure to provide leadership visibility into key metrics
- Own day-to-day invoicing, billing, AP/AR processes, and maintain auditable financial operations workflows
- Serve as primary contact with external accounting and tax partners and ensure timely filings and compliance
- Support vendor evaluations, contract reviews, and vendor performance tracking
Required experience
- 3–5 years in strategic finance, investment banking, management consulting, finance operations, business operations, or a comparable analytical role; startup finance/bizops experience strongly preferred
- Advanced financial modeling skills: able to build three-statement models, scenario analyses, and unit economics frameworks from scratch
- Operational finance fluency with knowledge of AP/AR, invoicing, billing cycles, and month-end close processes
- Experience managing external partners such as accountants, tax advisors, or legal counsel
- Strong working knowledge of compliance fundamentals or ability to learn regulatory frameworks quickly
- Experience building dashboards and BI reporting (Excel/Sheets minimum; Looker a plus)
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce board-ready work under time pressure
- Clear written and verbal communication and strong financial storytelling
- High ownership mentality and willingness to flex across responsibilities
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in AI, healthcare, biotech, or regulated industries
Compensation
Compensation Range: $140,000 - $190,000. Offers include equity and benefits such as unlimited PTO, meals, health/dental/vision/life insurance, company-sponsored commuter benefits, and an on-site gym.
