Why we need you
We are seeking a Product Data Scientist to partner with Product and Business Operations. The role focuses on rapidly answering product and customer questions, investigating incidents, and translating complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
What you9ll do
- Serve as the single source of truth for product module metrics and support internal reporting, customer adoption, and billing.
- Perform deep-dive analyses and generate ad hoc queries and reports to address urgent customer issues and incidents.
- Support data architecture and analytics design initiatives, including product data capture and key data flows.
Must-have experience
- Expert proficiency in SQL for ad hoc analysis, schema development, and parsing complex data structures.
- Strong proficiency in Python for scripting, cleaning and manipulating complex data, and working with APIs.
- Experience with large-scale data platforms, specifically BigQuery on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Familiarity with data ingestion/replication tools (e.g., Fivetran) and working with schema-less sources like MongoDB.
- Commitment to data compliance and privacy best practices, including handling and removing PHI.
Growth Opportunities
- Initial focus on product analytics with opportunities to contribute to Analytics Engineering & Data Engineering (custom data pipelines).
- Experimentation & AI Evaluation work including LLM logging/evaluation and analytical review for ML/AI projects.
Compensation Philosophy
Base salary range for U.S. candidates: $160,000 - $270,000. Compensation includes base salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits; exact pay depends on experience, skills, and location.
