Job description

Welcome to the Kumiverse

Become part of the Digital Health Revolution and help us improve the work of doctors, nurses, admin organization professionals, and commercial hospital directors in hospitals.
We see a future where clinical teams can fully focus on their patients and hospitals can optimally use their resources and thus operate economically in the long term. With our clinical workflow management system Kumi Clinical, we rely on digital process excellence, reproducible and safe treatment standards, modern messaging, and intelligent task automation. For clinical teams, we reduce the burden in everyday life and enable them to make decisions more easily and better informed. For management, we facilitate the control towards efficiency and productivity.

What this is about

As a Medical Working Student in Clinical Digitization, you are the link between medicine and technology. You work with clinicians of all hierarchical levels and help us understand their challenges in daily routines and design solution concepts. You incorporate these insights into the continuous improvement of our product. You support product introductions in hospitals, e.g., in the form of user trainings and accompany our new customers over time to satisfied long-term customers who use our software for years. Additionally, you contribute your clinical expertise to continuously expand the Kumi library of clinical standard pathways.
As part of the Kumi team, you work closely with other medical professionals and the product development team. Through varied tasks, you have the opportunity to contribute and further develop your individual skills.

What you should bring

  • First experience in clinical practice – you are a student in the clinical part of medical studies
  • Availability for at least 15 hours per week on average
  • Curiosity about technology as an opportunity for better medicine
  • Affinity for structured processes
  • Fluent German, both spoken and written

Additionally, you enjoy working

  • Independently, structured, and in a team
  • In a start-up setting with many development and growth opportunities
  • On clinical-medical topics in as many facets as possible

What we offer

  • Flexible working hours and the possibility to do part of your work from home – we are aware of your other obligations as a medical student
  • The chance to develop rapidly and take on responsibility
  • Great events like after-works
  • All the equipment you need to be creative and productive
  • An ambitious team that shares enthusiasm for the job and values appreciation among colleagues highly
  • A great office with a sunny balcony, free drinks, and fruit centrally located in the trendy Hamburg Schanzenviertel
  • Most importantly, we have an open ear for your needs for a good work-life balance and discuss together what you need for that.
