About the role
You will take responsibility, get deep into technical details and have real impact in healthcare. As an IT Project Manager you will work in tandem with our medical project managers: they own clinical processes and change, you own technical implementation, integration and stable operations.
Your main responsibilities:
- Technical consulting and support for our client hospitals
- Installation, administration and technical project management during initial platform implementation
- Close collaboration with and technical advice to internal teams, especially medical project leads
- 1st- and 2nd-level support with a focus on sustainable solutions
- Analysis, troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues, particularly interface-related problems
- Structured documentation of incident patterns and system behaviour for our development team
What we are looking for
- Completed training or degree in computer science, e.g. IT specialist, medical informatics or comparable qualification
- Practical experience in healthcare, ideally in IT support, project management or software roll-outs
- Basic understanding of hospital information systems and connected subsystems
- Experience administering Windows servers
- Knowledge of HL7 is a plus but not required
More important than perfect checklists are curiosity, willingness to learn and structured technical thinking.
Working style
You enjoy being customer- and service-oriented, working independently but also as part of a team when it leads to the best solution. You are communicative, analytical and solution-focused.
What we offer
- An open, appreciative working atmosphere where your ideas count
- Attractive compensation, VSOP, flat hierarchies and real scope for shaping your role
- Clear opportunities for professional and personal development
- An ambitious team that shares enthusiasm for the job and values colleagues
- A modern office with a sunny balcony, free drinks and fruit in the popular Schanzenviertel of Hamburg
- The possibility to perform part of your working time from home
- Great team events and after-works
