Tasks
Your role as an instructor is to introduce course participants to IT project management and teach the fundamentals of successful project delivery. You will show how to plan projects precisely, organize work efficiently, and manage projects confidently using realistic case studies. You will deepen participants’ knowledge using the PRINCE2 method, including focused preparation for the Foundation-level PRINCE2 certification.
- Course leadership and delivery: Deliver daily online lessons (e-lectures, live demonstrations) in the mornings and support participants during self-study, practical assignments, intensive groups and office hours (supported by a teaching assistant).
- Development and improvement of teaching materials: Create practical learning materials together with the product team. Be responsible for the subject-matter and didactic quality of the module and continuously improve and update teaching content and self-study tasks.
- Student support and course management: Actively support participants to successfully complete the module, coordinate assignment processing, assessment and reporting. Contribute to daily learner support, develop initiatives for lower-performing participants and collaborate closely with our Student Success Team.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with several years of experience in IT project management, and either prior experience as a trainer or a teaching qualification. Ideally you hold PRINCE2 Foundation certification and/or Scrum Master or Product Owner certification. Strong affinity for digitalization, online teaching and web-based learning platforms is expected. Fluent German and a confident presence are required because the course is delivered in German. You should enjoy teaching and be able to explain complex topics simply.
