(Senior) Architect eHealth Applications (all genders)
We want to make a difference – are you in? We ensure that over 80 million people in Germany can benefit from digital healthcare. You might already know some of our products, such as the e-prescription or electronic patient record (ePA). Help us shape the healthcare system of tomorrow.
Your work area: Systems Engineering
The Systems Engineering department is responsible for the architecture of the technical infrastructure for applications in the German healthcare system. As architects, we design the solution architecture for services and applications in the German healthcare system. Our goal is to make complex technologies easily usable for patients and doctors.
Our tasks range from overarching architecture topics for large distributed systems to expertise in specific technologies to methodology and quality assurance of technical concepts. Our applications include, among others, the electronic patient record, e-prescription, secure communication service KIM, TI messenger, and the German Electronic Reporting and Information System for Infection Protection DEMIS. Throughout the development, we maintain active exchange with the user community.
In addition to supporting the already rolled-out systems based on SOAP, IHE XDS.b, WS-Security, smart cards, and IPSec, we are working on new solutions based on REST, HL7 FHIR, OpenID Connect and OAuth2, FIDO2, remote signatures, secure private cloud, and zero trust networking.
