The ART Applications at gematik are responsible for the development of central digital solutions such as the electronic patient record, the ePrescription, and KIM. With a user-centered, agile working method according to SAFe, the cross-functional team designs innovative products for the German healthcare system. The focus is on integration into the telematics infrastructure, the highest quality and security standards, and close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The goal is to enable modern, efficient, and secure healthcare for millions of people.
Your Tasks
- You take overall responsibility for the product portfolio of an Agile Release Train (ART) in the applications area – from the initial idea to nationwide rollout.
- You are responsible for backlog, implementation, and budget of the products and services in your ART, including applications such as electronic patient records, ePrescription, KIM, TI-M, and other innovative solutions.
- You are the central contact person for stakeholders, develop vision and strategy, and ensure their implementation.
- Together with the cross-functional ART trio (System Architect, Release Train Engineer, Product Owners, and experts), you steer and shape the implementation of complex products.
- You act as a communicative interface between internal and external interest groups, report to the Managing Director of Production/Operations/Security, and ensure transparency and clarity of goals.
- You promote user-centered, agile product development and drive continuous optimization of processes and methods.
Your Profile
- Degree: You have completed studies, for example in social or health sciences, (business) informatics, natural sciences, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience: You have several years of experience in healthcare (or e-health), especially in project management and team leadership.
- Tool & Method Knowledge: You have practical experience with agile methods (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and are confident working with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Working Style: You think entrepreneurially, are result-oriented, and bring strong leadership skills.
- Personality: You are resilient, have excellent communication skills, can explain complex issues understandably, and enjoy working in agile, cross-functional teams.
- Language: You have very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
