Your Work Area: Operations
The Operations area ensures the stable, available, and secure operation of the telematics infrastructure (TI) for the German healthcare system. Tasks include defining the framework conditions and requirements for technical components, monitoring services, and coordinating industry partners in case of disruptions. Insights gained flow into the further development of digital products.
Your Responsibilities
- You take on the identification of anomalies and disruptions in the control center and intervene to ensure the stability and availability of the TI.
- You know what matters in the analysis and documentation of events. You document disruption processes, record disruption reports, forward these to responsible departments/service providers (internal and external) according to set criteria, and coordinate further troubleshooting and communication measures.
- You primarily monitor care-relevant applications of the TI within and outside of regular working hours (shift work, including weekends, on-site) as well as the detection and escalation of disruptions or other anomalies in the TI environment.
- You also perform routine tasks in the Operations area at gematik. You assist in answering general inquiries about the telematics infrastructure or forward these to gematik's product teams if necessary and document responses to frequently asked questions.
- You communicate calmly and precisely during normal operations and escalation situations and are service- and customer-oriented.
- You actively contribute to the buildup of the gematik control center. Through your calm and responsible actions, you significantly help keep digital healthcare in Germany available and secure.
Your Profile
- You have completed training in a technical field or can prove a comparable qualification.
- Ideally, you have experience in the mentioned field – especially in monitoring and incident management; alternatively, you convince with quick comprehension, high willingness to learn, and motivation to work in these areas.
- Confident handling of monitoring and ticket systems, structured disruption handling and documentation according to ITIL standards, as well as service-oriented communication in normal and escalation situations.
- You are reliable, work carefully, in a structured and independent manner. You can quickly overview technical contexts and dependencies and record situation assessments accordingly.
- You are not afraid of challenges and are motivated. In stressful situations, you act calmly and thoughtfully. Collaboration and knowledge sharing with colleagues are important to you.
- You have very good German and English language skills in speaking and writing.
