(Junior/Senior) IT-Service Manager Leitstand

Your Work Area: Operations

The Operations area ensures the stable, available, and secure operation of the telematics infrastructure (TI) for the German healthcare system. Tasks include defining framework conditions and requirements for technical components, monitoring services, and coordinating industry partners in case of malfunctions. The insights flow into the further development of digital products.

Your Tasks

  • You take on the identification of anomalies and malfunctions in the control center and intervene to ensure the stability and availability of the TI.
  • You know what matters in analyzing and documenting events. You document malfunction processes, record malfunction reports, forward them to responsible specialist areas/service providers (internal and external) based on defined criteria, and coordinate further troubleshooting and communication measures.
  • Your primary responsibility is monitoring care-relevant applications of the TI (telematics infrastructure) within and outside regular working hours (shift work, including weekends, on-site) as well as detecting and escalating malfunctions or other anomalies in the TI environment.
  • Additionally, you perform regular activities in the Operations area at gematik. You help answer general inquiries about the telematics infrastructure or forward them to gematik product teams if necessary and document responses to frequently asked questions.
  • You communicate calmly and precisely in regular operation and escalation cases, always service- and customer-oriented.
  • You actively contribute to building the gematik control center. Your calm and responsible actions significantly help to keep the digital healthcare system in Germany available and secure.

Your Profile

  • Education: You have completed training in a technical field or have a comparable qualification.
  • Experience: Ideally, you have experience in the mentioned field – especially in monitoring and incident management; alternatively, you convince with quick comprehension, high willingness to learn, and motivation to work in these areas.
  • Tool & Method Knowledge: Confident handling of monitoring and ticketing systems, structured malfunction processing and documentation according to ITIL standards, as well as service-oriented communication in regular and escalation cases.
  • Working Style: You are reliable, work carefully, structured, and independently. You are able to quickly grasp technical contexts and dependencies and assess the situation based on this.
  • Personality: You are not afraid of challenges and are motivated. In stressful situations, you act calmly and methodically. Collaboration and knowledge sharing with colleagues is important to you.
  • Language: You have very good German and English skills in spoken and written form.
