Your area of work: Operations
The Operations department ensures the stable, available, and secure operation of the telematics infrastructure (TI) for the German healthcare system. Tasks include defining framework conditions and requirements for technical components, monitoring services, and coordinating industry partners in case of disruptions. Insights are incorporated into the further development of digital products.
Your Tasks
- You take over the identification of anomalies and disruptions in the control center and intervene to ensure the stability and availability of the TI.
- You know what matters in the analysis and documentation of events. You document disruption processes, record disturbance reports, forward these to responsible departments/service providers (internal and external) based on defined criteria, and coordinate further troubleshooting and communication measures.
- You primarily monitor supply-relevant applications of the TI (telematics infrastructure) during and outside regular working hours and detect and escalate disruptions or other anomalies in the TI environment.
- You take on routine tasks in the operations area at gematik. You help answer general inquiries about the telematics infrastructure or forward them to the product teams of gematik if necessary and document answers to frequently asked questions.
- You communicate calmly and precisely during normal operations and escalations, always service- and customer-oriented.
- You actively contribute to building the gematik control center. Through your composed and responsible actions, you significantly help keep digital healthcare in Germany available and secure.
Your Profile
- Degree: You have completed a technical degree or have a comparable qualification.
- Experience: Ideally, you already have experience in the mentioned field of activity with a focus on monitoring and incident management.
- Tool & Method Knowledge: Confident handling of monitoring and ticket systems, structured incident handling and documentation according to ITIL standards, and service-oriented communication in normal and escalation situations.
- Work Style: You are reliable, work carefully, structured, and independently. You can quickly grasp technical contexts and dependencies and based on that assess the situation.
- Personality: You are not afraid of challenges and are motivated. You act calmly and planfully in stressful situations. Collaboration and knowledge sharing with colleagues is important to you.
- Language: You have very good German and English skills in spoken and written form.
