The Finance, Controlling, and Purchasing department bundles all financial, accounting, and bookkeeping tasks within gematik – from the procurement of services, the awarding of large-scale projects to accounting, the preparation of the annual corporate plan, and reporting to our management and shareholders.
Your Work Area: Controlling
The Controlling team supports budget managers at gematik as business partners, creating transparency and management capabilities. We prepare meaningful reports, continuously develop them, and determine prices for our products and services. We inform not only management but are also in regular exchange with our shareholders on current developments, profitability analyses, and other business administration topics.
Your Tasks
- You lead the controlling team both technically and disciplinarily. You ensure balanced and adequate development of your colleagues and the team as a whole, agree on departmental goals together and implement them timely in the team. Based on your experience and considering company-specific peculiarities, you efficiently apply best practices.
- You ensure effective and efficient commercial processes and structures. You understand the company's and stakeholders' requirements, develop suitable and tailored concepts with the team, and implement them.
- You independently create forecasts, ad-hoc analyses, and target/actual comparisons, identify potential for optimizing profitability, derive measures, and sustainably pursue their implementation.
- You are responsible for timely, continuous, and target-group-oriented reporting, planning, and forecasting for the specialist and supporting departments. You also monitor budgets and check investment and financing decisions.
- You optimize process flows, continuously develop and implement existing control instruments while ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines.
- You are a competent negotiation and sparring partner on strategic matters for the controlling team, management, specialist departments, and supporting areas. Additionally, you support projects and resolve operational problems.
Your Profile
- Degree: You have a degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on controlling.
- Experience: You bring several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in the (IT) service industry or healthcare, with project and leadership experience.
- Tool & Method Knowledge: You have knowledge in applying and further developing controlling tools as well as building key figure systems and KPIs. Additionally, you have advanced user skills in MS Office, especially Excel and Access.
- Working Style: You think analytically, proactively, and entrepreneurially. You act responsibly, precisely, solution-oriented, and on your own initiative. Prioritizing topics is an integral part of your work style.
- Leadership Style: You lead cooperatively and convince with your proactive and constructive drive. You act assertively and diplomatically skilled to harmonize different interests. The development of your team is a high priority to you.
- Personality: You learn quickly and have a pronounced affinity for dealing with numbers, databases, and facts. You are interested in the underlying facts behind the numbers and want to help shape them. Your hands-on mentality motivates you and your team. Your friendly, determined demeanor, high sense of responsibility, and excellent, transparent, and appreciative communication distinguish you. You are clear and binding.
- Language: You have very good German and English skills in spoken and written form.
