As Chief Information Officer (CIO) at gematik, you play a key role in the digital transformation of the German healthcare system. You are responsible for the strategic orientation and further development of our IT landscape and drive innovative digital solutions forward. You are a leader who successfully develops teams and have a profound understanding of modern IT landscapes and digitalization in companies. Your Tasks
- Development and implementation of the digitalization strategy: Designing and implementing a comprehensive IT strategy related to our corporate goals. This includes digital transformation and analyzing current technologies and trends to develop long-term IT plans.
- Team Leadership: You present IT as an independent area and translate the IT strategy understandably for other departments. You represent IT interests within gematik and involve all relevant stakeholders. As a visible anchor of trust for your employees, you know ongoing projects and their challenges. With a strong team spirit, you continuously lead and develop your employees and leadership team.
- Management of IT Infrastructure: Responsibility for the operation, security, and continuous development of gematik's IT infrastructure. Ensuring smooth operation of IT systems as well as planning and implementing infrastructure projects.
- Project and Change Management: Leadership of central, strategic IT projects. Implementation of change management strategies to guide organizational changes and promote acceptance of new technologies and processes.
- Security Management: Ensuring functional management of IT security measures to guarantee the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive company data, considering compliance with legal requirements and data protection regulations.
- Promotion of Digital Transformation: Introduction and advancement of state-of-the-art technologies and tools. Promoting networking and agility.
Your Profile
- Education and Professional Experience: Several years of experience in a senior IT position or comparable qualification, ideally in organizations that have already started a digital transformation.
- Leadership Competence: Experience in leading and developing IT teams with pronounced leadership qualities, a strong culture of togetherness and team spirit, and the ability to create an open approach to people, especially enjoying fostering a supportive and agile work environment.
- Technological Expertise: Understanding of modern technologies and IT systems.
- Innovative Ability: Passion for new technologies and their application to optimize our business processes.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication with various stakeholders, including executives and regulatory authorities.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills and problem-solving competence.
- Language: You have very good German and English skills in spoken and written form.
