Your Work Area: IT

The IT department at gematik drives digital transformation, develops products, services, and infrastructures, and forms the technological backbone. It offers a broad portfolio, from digital workplaces to cloud services, working closely with all departments. The goal is a network of autonomous and user-centered teams. IT contributes significantly to the digitization of healthcare and Germany's digital sovereignty.

Your Tasks

  • You collaborate with the CIO on the strategic realignment of the team. You are actively involved in shaping the technology strategy and play an essential role in planning and implementing change management initiatives as well as further developing our 50-person team and the product and service portfolio.
  • You lead a team of 18 experts (Service Owner, Product Manager, Project Manager, Service Engineer), promoting their professional development and ensuring team members fully realize their potential.
  • You strategically develop and optimize key processes with your team to continuously improve service and product quality and maximize user satisfaction.
  • The needs of users are always central to you. You analyze their requirements and usage contexts.
  • You drive "Change by Education," proactively sharing your knowledge and developing team members through self-designed learning formats.
  • You work closely with other departments and leadership to ensure the optimal implementation of our technology strategy and support company goals.
  • As a facilitator, you are responsible for designing and conducting workshops.
  • As a leader, you help shape a culture based on psychological safety, constructive nonconformity, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB).

Your Profile

  • Degree: You have a completed degree and profound leadership expertise, continuously developing yourself.
  • Experience: You have extensive experience in leading and developing teams and act as a bridge between technical and business worlds, with digital affinity and expertise in service management and product development.
  • Tool & Method Knowledge: You have strong skills in facilitation, co-creation, and workshop design, proven experience in user research and methods like design thinking and service design. You are also experienced in planning and implementing change management initiatives and communicating change effectively.
  • Work Style: You work solution-oriented, prefer teamwork, have strong communication skills, and can sustainably solve complex technical issues. You are a doer, analyzing problems with your team, defining prototype solutions, testing and iteratively adapting them.
  • Personality: You are a human-centered leader and role model in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB). You show high initiative, decisiveness, and assertiveness.
  • Language: Your very good German and English skills complete your profile.
