The Finance, Controlling and Purchasing department consolidates all financial, accounting and bookkeeping tasks within gematik - from procuring services, awarding large-scale projects to invoicing, preparing annual corporate planning and reporting to our shareholders.

From managing accounts receivable and payable to asset accounting and monitoring incoming payments to preparing the annual financial statements, we are the contact for management, auditors and tax consultants. Additionally, we handle ongoing inquiries from our business partners on various topics.

• You are jointly responsible with two colleagues for accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and asset accounting).
• You ensure accounting according to HGB and bylaws and perform quarterly and annual closing activities.
• You are responsible for handling all tax matters, preparing monthly VAT returns and timely processing payment obligations.
• You are the point of contact for auditors, tax consultants and tax lawyers as well as other authorities, including handling related correspondence.
• You are actively involved in internal departmental projects. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for optimizing processes during digitalization and shaping them.

• Qualification: You have successfully completed vocational training as a balance sheet accountant or have a qualification as a tax specialist.
• Experience: You have several years of professional experience as a balance sheet accountant / tax specialist or in a comparable position.
• Tool & Method Knowledge: You shine with your knowledge of Oracle Netsuite and DATEV and ideally have experience with annual financial statements and HGB.
• Work Style: Your work is characterized by careful, independent, structured and reliable manner.
• Personality: You are a communicative team player with a high service orientation and integrity. In addition, you convince with decisiveness and economic thinking.
• Language: You have very good German and English skills in spoken and written form.
