The Finance, Controlling and Purchasing department consolidates all financial, balance sheet, and accounting tasks within gematik – from procuring services, awarding large-scale projects, to invoicing, preparing the annual company plan, and reporting to our shareholders.
Your Area of Work: Finance
From accounts receivable and payable management to asset accounting and monitoring incoming payments to the preparation of the annual financial statement, we are the contact for management, auditors, and tax consultants. Additionally, we handle ongoing inquiries from our business partners on various topics.
Your Tasks
- You are jointly responsible with two colleagues for accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and asset accounting).
- You ensure accounting according to HGB and company bylaws and perform quarterly and annual closing tasks.
- You are also responsible for handling all tax matters, preparing monthly VAT returns, and timely processing of payment obligations.
- You act as contact person for auditors, tax consultants, tax lawyers, and other authorities, including appropriate correspondence handling.
- You actively participate in internal projects. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for optimizing processes through digitalization and help shape these.

Your Profile
- Qualification: You have successfully completed training as a certified accountant or have a qualification as a tax specialist.
- Experience: You have several years of professional experience as a certified accountant / tax specialist or in a comparable position.
- Tool & Method Knowledge: You shine with your Oracle Netsuite and DATEV knowledge and ideally have experience with annual financial statements and HGB.
- Work Style: Your work is characterized by a careful, independent, structured, and reliable approach.
- Personality: You are a communicative team player with a strong service orientation and integrity. You also impress with decisiveness and economic thinking.
- Language: You have very good German and English skills in spoken and written form.
