DevOps/Cloud Engineer

Requirements

• Proficiency in written and verbal English language (technical + general)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in business-related projects (>3 proven projects)
• Knowledge in Git
• Proficiency in using GitHub (any other Git-based code and CI/CD tool)
• Experience with working with GitHub actions (or any other pipeline tool like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience with Cloud (AWS/MS Azure/GCP, Digital Ocean, Hetzner)
• Understanding and capability to configure aspects related to TCP/IP, HTTP/S, load balancing, and virtual private networks (VPNs)
• Familiarity with server technologies such as Nginx and Node.js
• Deep understanding of operating system fundamentals in systems like Ubuntu, Debian and Linux distribution systems
• Experience with writing Shell scripts
• Expertise in managing file systems, and proficiency in working with databases including MySQL, MariaDB

Additional skills (not required but considered advantageous): Experience with Rancher (open shift), Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana/Prometheus), IaaC tools (e.g. Terraform), Understanding scripting with languages including Bash, Python, Knowledge of Javascript.
