Digital Health Companion (DHC) is a German health tech startup founded by doctors in 2021. The company designs, implements and offers medical health platforms that are community-centered and designed by their users - patients and healthcare professionals. They are passionate about improving the delivery of care and patients' everyday life with rare and chronic diseases.
DHC's approach is built on four core principles:
- Data ownership: Their products are built to the highest data security standards with end-to-end encryption, ensuring data ownership belongs to the user.
- Phygital Health: They build solutions that address specific needs of rare disease communities at the intersection of digital and human physical care.
- Community: They aim to connect all community stakeholders (patients, families, doctors, patient and medical organisations) to build solutions that create value for all.
- Sustainability: Through their unique cooperation model, they build sustainable partnerships that create synergies and benefit all stakeholders.
The company follows a #radicalcollaboration approach, developing their products in close partnership with patients, caregivers, physicians, academic partners and pharmaceutical companies.
