Our founding team includes senior physicians and technology leaders from Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital, UCSF, the MIT Media Lab, and Mount Sinai. Our broader team, coming from Stripe, NVIDIA, and Google DeepMind, is growing quickly, and we’re looking for exceptional people to join us at this inflection point.

The Role

At Counsel, we believe everyone should have an expert physician in their pocket. We have built the foundation—medical record integrations, doctor-led AI, and immediate clinical access. Now, we need a Growth Product Manager to turn that foundation into a daily habit for millions.
Your goal is Mindshare. You will own the "Day 0 to Day 30" experience, ensuring every user who discovers Counsel doesn't just "try" it, but realizes it is the only way they want to manage their health. You won't be building net-new use cases; you will be the architect of our Product-Led Growth (PLG) engine, turning the product itself into our most powerful distribution and retention channel.

What you'll do

  • Engineer the "Aha!" Moment: obsess over time-to-value — from syncing a first record to interacting with a doctor; design the path that makes value undeniable.
  • Master Mindshare & Presence: define what "presence" looks like for Counsel through notification strategies, mobile app adoption, and habit-forming triggers that drive return visits.
  • Build the PLG Engine: own the "front door" of Counsel — signed-out experience, landing pages, and onboarding flow — as core product that converts curiosity into high-intent usage.
  • Industry Agnostic: focus on consumer product growth at scale rather than prior health-tech experience specifically.
  • Maximize Utility: ship incremental but essential features—doctor matching, record summaries, and proactive health alerts—that make Counsel a daily teammate.
  • Partner with D2C Growth: work in a high-velocity pod alongside the D2C Growth Marketer to ensure traffic converts and retains.

What you'll bring

  • 4+ years of experience in consumer growth.
  • Experience leading discovery and experimentation to identify and prioritize impactful features and opportunities.
  • Deep customer intuition and product taste, combining design empathy with a rigorous, data-informed approach to measuring impact.
  • Ability to own work in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to change.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to make the product successful.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, clinicians, and GTM to define, build, and deploy experiences that delight users.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Bonus points for

  • Doing growth at an early-stage startup during its primary scaling phase.
  • Direct experience working with LLM-powered products.
  • Prior collaboration with D2C growth marketing teams or experience as a growth marketer.
  • Experience in consumer products in regulated spaces (Fintech, Edtech, healthcare).
