About the job
As a Computer Vision Engineer at easee you think about improving our product and developing new solutions for digital eye care.
Easee focuses on consumer digital eye care and this is typically done by using the webcam/camera functionality of consumer electronics. The work involves gathering and analyzing data, designing, testing and validating a model/algorithm, and eventually integrating this in easee's products. Doing so, you contribute to ensuring that easee's products are accurate and reliable.

As we developed a web-based product, we expect you to be a bit of a self-starter and figure out your way with basic HTML, CSS and Javascript too.
Key responsibilities:
- Analyzing existing product challenges as well as potential product enhancements, and coming up with algorithms to solve and implement them.
- Figuring out how to collect data in the correct way and providing guidance on this to others within the team to ensure data collection is consistent and traceable.
- Building and validating prototypes, to prove new or improved functionality.
- Collaborating with other developers to get validated improvements into easee's products.
- Participating in validation of effectiveness of solutions.
- Keeping up to date with new developments in the machine learning and computer vision space, to ensure we use the best technology to solve problems.
- Having documentation skills (or the desire to acquire those). You will have to gain a decent level of proficiency in compliance with ISO 13485 QMS & IEC 62304 (easee is a class 1M Medical device) standards.
About you
- Several years of proven work experience as a Computer Vision Engineer or Software Engineer with a focus on machine learning.
