To achieve this mission, our Research Sales team brings our proprietary technology to leading institutions worldwide. We provide the tools that enable the scientific community to unlock new insights into human health.
Nightingale Health's Research Multiomics Hub brings together a novel multiomics service, combining our proprietary CoreMetabolomics platform with complementary proteomics solutions. Our metabolomics technology delivers high‑throughput, quantitative metabolic profiling from a single blood sample, while proteomics adds another layer of biological insight—together providing a comprehensive multiomic view to support deeper scientific understanding and clinical translation.
The position is full-time and based in Helsinki, Finland. Our customer base is global, and the role requires travel and flexibility across time zones.
Key responsibilities
- Prospecting for new research sales deals: Conduct targeted outreach by mapping potential customers through existing databases and desk research, identify institutions where our technology can support scientific discovery, manage a high-volume early-stage pipeline, attend international conferences, and engage potential customers in person.
- Building and pursuing sales cases: Secure meetings to assess project size, scientific question and funding. Understand customers' scientific challenges and articulate how our solution delivers value.
- Closing deals: Bring cases to completion effectively.
- Handover and follow-up: Transition closed deals to legal and delivery teams and navigate stakeholders to bring projects to completion.
- Account management: Stay engaged with clients as needed to ensure smooth project execution.
Who you are
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) plus at least 2 years of relevant sales experience.
- Proven sales background selling technical or complex solutions, ideally services to medical researchers internationally.
- Ability to read and understand scientific studies and papers.
- “Hunter” mentality: focused on finding and closing new deals.
- Numbers-oriented and driven by measurable goals.
- Excellent social, people and communication skills. Excellent English, both verbal and written; other languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel and work flexibly across different time zones, including Pacific Time.
