What you’ll be doing...

You will be a key member as part of the Central Transformation, Advisory and Governance Team. We are looking for a Spec – Program and Project Management who will be leading the Strategy part of Vendor Governance. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of vendor relationships, from the contract to ongoing performance management, ensuring compliance with company standards and optimizing vendor performance. This person must have excellent communication, project management, and strategic thinking skills, Deep understanding of Vendor management concepts and Data analytical skill along with market research background
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures that guide the vendor management activities.
  • Monitoring vendor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensuring that vendors are meeting their contractual obligations
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for sourcing and managing AI-focused vendors that align with business goals.
  • Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on emerging AI technologies, tools, and platforms.
  • Use data-driven insights and AI-powered tools to analyze contract clauses and identify areas for optimization and risk.
  • Utilize AI-driven analytics dashboards to continuously monitor vendor health, identify performance trends, and proactively address issues.
  • Conducting research to identify and evaluate potential vendors that align with the organization's objectives
  • Analyzing industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market opportunities to inform vendor selection and strategic decision-making
  • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating vendor-related risks to protect the organization’s reputation and assets.
  • Managing the entire vendor lifecycle, from selection to offboarding, to ensure that vendors are managed effectively throughout their engagement with the organization.
  • Collecting and analyzing vendor data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and cost savings.
  • Developing and maintaining positive and mutually beneficial relationships with vendors to enhance the experience.
  • Measuring vendor performance against agreed-upon KPIs, such as service levels, quality, and cost         
  • Ensuring that vendors are complying with contractual terms and conditions, as well as regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Tracking cost savings achieved through vendor management activities, such as negotiation and process improvement
  • Measuring the time it takes to draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts with vendor
  • Measuring vendor satisfaction with the organization’s vendor management process and relationship.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

  • Knowledge of IT Vendor management lifecycle
  • Ability to identify opportunities, facilitate sessions to ideate and come up with joint cross functional solutions to improve vendor performance
  • Experience in Vendor Governance & Innovation with a focus on large scale transformation programs & contribute to larger organization.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.

  • Experience presenting compelling business cases, business performance results, and recommendations.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Proficient in MS Excel/ Powerpoint/ GSuite.

  • Exposure to Change management.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills.

  • Telecom domain/industry experience.

  • Experience in Vendor Governance, including managing different teams through Business Analysis, Project Management, and other technologies.
  • Experience in lead real-time high stake risk mitigation plan and drive timely decisions
  • Program management certifications such as PMP, etc.
