The Role
Join us as a Tech Lead, where you will lead and guide one of our development teams to build simple yet powerful solutions for complex problems in the healthcare space. You will define technical direction, drive execution, and contribute hands-on to our mission to innovate in digital healthcare.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the technical vision for your team's domain, defining architectural strategy and ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
- Develop and contribute high-quality code directly, setting the standard and actively implementing core features.
- Force technical simplicity by challenging complex requirements and ensuring minimal elegant solutions.
- Mentor and coach a team of 3–6 developers, conduct regular 1:1s, provide feedback, and support professional growth.
- Establish and enforce modern engineering practices, including rigorous code reviews, comprehensive testing strategies, and efficient CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product and medical teams to refine requirements, estimate effort, and prioritize the roadmap.
- Drive operational excellence by monitoring performance, identifying bottlenecks, and improving reliability and deployment speed.
Your Profile
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is expected.
- 5+ years of practical software development experience, with expertise in building and deploying complex applications.
- 2+ years in a leadership capacity (Tech Lead, Team Lead, or Engineering Manager) managing developers.
- Expertise in software architecture patterns and the ability to articulate trade-offs.
- Strong knowledge of agile development, Clean Code, design patterns, and testing methodologies.
- Product thinking: translate user needs into technical solutions that deliver measurable value.
- Deep experience developing in TypeScript or JavaScript (TypeScript is the primary language).
- Proven ability to simplify complex problems and implement maintainable solutions.
- Excellent communication and mentorship skills to lead technical discussions and foster high-performance culture.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Nice to have
- Familiarity with regulated industries, particularly healthcare or MedTech.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced scale-up or startup environment.

Compensation
The reference gross salary for Hungary is 2.000.000 HUF / month. Willingness to overpay depends on qualification and experience. Employees are eligible to participate in the company's Virtual Stock Option Plan (VSOP).
