About XUND

XUND is a leading digital health scale-up that enables healthcare companies to digitize patient interactions and translate data into actionable insights.
It's our vision to improve the quality and accessibility of healthcare by bringing together medicine, technology, and a human-centered mindset. But we cannot do it alone: we need leaders, doers, and innovative minds to turn our vision into reality.
We are looking for an ambitious, highly committed, and entrepreneurial team player who shares our values of putting patients first, building an inspiring and open environment and challenging the status quo.

The Role

Join us as a Product Designer and shape the future of healthcare. As we continue to scale our product, we’re looking for a Product Design contractor who will take ownership of UX challenges, validate ideas with users, and prototype solutions that balance usability, business impact, and regulatory constraints. You’ll collaborate directly with product and engineering to move fast via iterations. At our core, we are dedicated to making medical knowledge accessible to everyone.

Your Responsibilities

  • Shape end-to-end user experiences, translating product requirements and user needs into clear user journeys
  • Create clear, intuitive screens and interaction flows that balance user needs, technical feasibility, and compliance with relevant regulatory and privacy requirements
  • Create prototypes to explore concepts, test assumptions, and align stakeholders on product direction
  • Contribute actively to research activities, including usability tests, user interviews and other research methods, in collaboration with a PM and incorporate findings into the design
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering, aligning goals, discussing constraints and feasibility and clearly communicating design choices and reasoning throughout the process
  • Work with us in a flexible rhythm, adjusting hours based on project intensity and being available to react promptly when high-priority issues come up

Your Profile

  • Proven experience in product or UX design, contributing to digital products across different stages of development (both for mobile and responsive web experiences)
  • Strong UX and interaction design skills, including the ability to simplify complex workflows, build clear user journeys, and use structured tools (such as user journey maps or similar frameworks)
  • Experience creating prototypes and wireframes for testing, communication, and decision-making
  • Experience with usability testing methods and the ability to synthesize findings into clear, actionable next steps
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work smoothly within a cross-functional team
  • Resident in the EU and authorized to work
  • Languages: English, Hungarian

Nice to have

  • Experience in healthcare or other regulated environments
  • German proficiency is a plus

Your Benefits

  • Flexible schedule (10–20 hours/week)
  • Real product impact with quick iteration cycles
  • Fast and fair payment (net rate to be agreed)
  • Potential for extension or expanded role depending on roadmap
  • Friendly, focused small team with minimal bureaucracy
