XO Health Inc. is seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our data engineering strategy, driving development and implementation of advanced data solutions to optimize operations and deliver impactful insights for our business and customers. This role will oversee data engineers, architects, and analysts to build robust data infrastructure, leverage cutting-edge technologies to extract intelligence from large healthcare datasets, and support XO Health's AI strategy.

Design and implement scalable data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes to capture, store, and process large volumes of healthcare data from diverse sources.

Lead development and deployment of advanced analytics models, including machine learning and predictive modeling, to identify trends, predict risks, and optimize pricing, underwriting, and claims processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional IT, vendor, and business teams to translate data insights into actionable business strategies that improve customer and provider experience and operational efficiency.

Contribute to building a world-class data platform that supports data science, analytics, product, and engineering needs across the company.

Champion data privacy and security, ensuring solutions adhere to industry standards (including HIPAA) and data security best practices.

Provide leadership and guidance to teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability; manage Data Jira boards including creating stories, assigning responsibility, and reporting progress.

Work with Quality Engineering to ensure solutions are tested and meet quality standards; continuously assess and optimize system performance and identify process improvements.

Required: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

7+ years of experience leading engineering teams and 9+ years building big data systems handling at-scale data ingestion, processing, and/or storage on the AWS stack.

Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices; demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into technical roadmaps.

Experience with data science platforms, ML infrastructure, data governance, and/or managing regulated data is preferred. Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and predictive analytics.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; willingness to be hands-on in a rapidly evolving startup environment; knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulations such as HIPAA and FHIR.

Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and relevant certifications. Salary range: 7 2,000,000 7 3,500,000 INR (annual).
