Overview
We are seeking a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner to join our provider team (Hemlock LLC). This role is a 1099 contract position and requires licensure to practice telemedicine in at least 15 synchronous telehealth states. Per Diem 1099 providers will be scheduled for activation during peak demand periods, including weekends, holidays, and the final week of each month.
What Youll Do
- Conduct consultations via phone, video, or asynchronously in accordance with state telemedicine regulations, only within full-practice states.
- Provide patient care using our custom EMR: evaluate patient records, diagnose, prescribe medication, and make lifestyle recommendations.
- Follow best practices and company policies to accurately diagnose and treat patients.
- Foster an inclusive, non-judgmental environment by communicating compassionately with patients through the patient portal and answering care-related questions.
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice telemedicine in at least 15 synchronous telehealth states (examples include AR, WV, DE, DC, KS, RI, VT).
- Completed an accredited FNP or WHNP program with national certification.
- ANCC board certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in primary care or reproductive care, with at least 1 year in-person primary care experience.
- At least 1 year of telehealth or virtual care experience, preferably in a start-up environment.
- Comfortable using online tools and technology to deliver high-quality care and patient communication.
Visa sponsorship or transfer is not available for this position. Candidates must be authorized to work in the country listed in this requisition.
