Senior Health Informatics Data Analyst — Overview
Wellth is a fast-growing, mission-driven digital health company headquartered in Los Angeles that uses behavioral economics, habit science, and technology to improve outcomes for people with chronic conditions. The Senior Health Informatics Data Analyst will demonstrate the power of healthcare data (claims, medications, labs, quality outcomes) to prove the impact of Wellth's behavior change programs and support product, commercial, and client-facing efforts.
Responsibilities
- Conduct analyses to identify trends, generate actionable insights, and propose strategies that drive outcomes for Wellth’s members and payer/provider clients.
- Lead client-facing discussions, present analyses, and provide insights on quality metric performance, CMS measures, and ROI.
- Develop and present complex reports, dashboards, visualizations, and presentations to support new business and ongoing partnerships.
- Partner with commercial and client success teams to identify ways to leverage data insights for client-specific challenges.
- Support client data onboarding, coordinate internal and external communications, and collaborate with client data teams.
- Develop and refine targeting algorithms to identify members most likely to benefit from interventions.
- Provide strategic recommendations for new use cases and enhancements to analytics capabilities.
- Stay current on healthcare industry trends and analytics methodologies.

Qualifications
- 5+ years working with healthcare products and data, including medical/pharmacy claims and patient data.
- 3+ years as a healthcare data analyst in a client-facing role.
- Experience optimizing SQL queries on analytical databases such as Redshift and Snowflake.
- Proficiency in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Sisense) and strong data visualization skills.
- Strong understanding of healthcare quality metrics (HEDIS, Stars) and ROI/financial modeling.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Attention to detail and experience creating repeatable, scalable processes.
- Experience with Python for data manipulation, light data science/statistical modeling, and leveraging AI/ML tools is a plus.

Base Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000
