Health Plan Sales Lead

Job Description

This role is primarily responsible for generating revenue and developing new business through a consultative selling process with payers and large health plans. This person is a big picture thinker that develops and executes strategic plans for approaching and selling to prospects directly and through broker and consultant channel partner relationships. Teamwork, collaboration and execution will be critical to success in this role. The work you do with our team will directly improve millions of people's lives through lower drug costs.
You will work closely with our co-founders and C-suite team. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to make a meaningful impact in the fastest growing area of pharmacy and who would like to be part of an exciting start up journey.

Responsibilities

This role reports to our SVP, Growth Strategy. You will primarily focus on the following responsibilities:
Achieve Organizational Growth Goals
  • Sign clients and prospects to contracts for Waltz services.
  • Track prospect status and move clients through the sales lifecyle.
  • Identify and address barriers to growth and offer solutions to address.
  • Lead analytical and proposal requests for prospects.
Grow the Waltz Health Sales Pipeline
  • Create sales strategies to prospect and engage new accounts.
  • Develop new partnerships and reseller agreements.
  • Aid resellers in upselling.
Expand Industry Footprint and Brand
  • Represent Waltz Health at conferences, webinars, and executive forums.
  • Partner with Marketing to orchestrate thought leadership content to boost Waltz's profile among PBMs and health plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years PBM/Pharmacy or Health Plan experience
  • 3-5 years Sales or Product experience
