Android Engineer - Kotlin / Compose (m/f/d)

At voize, we are revolutionizing care and automating documentation with artificial intelligence (AI). With voize, caregivers can freely record documentation on their smartphones, and our AI automatically creates the correct structured documentation entries. This saves each caregiver 18 minutes a day while significantly increasing documentation quality. In addition to healthcare, voize is also used in other industries such as TÜV.

We are a young team funded by YCombinator and Redalpine, aiming to combine cutting-edge technology with social value. For the next steps towards the future, we are looking for you as an Android Engineer!

Responsibilities

We are looking for team members who love talking to customers, iterating quickly, and implementing solutions rapidly.

As an Android Engineer, you will take on central responsibility for product development and technical implementation of our apps, written in Kotlin & Compose, as well as integration into healthcare systems. You will work closely with the founders, regularly exchange with our customers, and develop new features. You will accompany the entire development cycle – from ideation through technical implementation to analysis and feedback from users.

Qualifications

• Kotlin, Compose, Kotlin Multiplatform
• Native Android development
• Typical software engineering skills such as Git, CI/CD, Docker, etc.
• A good eye for product design

• Native iOS development
• TypeScript / React
• Kotlin Backend Engineering

• Communication: You explain technical details clearly and write precise documentation.
• Critical Thinking: You question ideas constructively and find sustainable solutions.
• Holistic Approach: You think systemically, make informed decisions, and understand what it means to work in a startup.
